Facts about Himalayan Ranges
Himdari range is the northernmost with the height of 6000 meters and width of 120-kilometre. Himdari is also called the Greater Himalaya. The most famous mountains like Mt. Everest, Nanga Parbat, Kanchenjunga, Ganges and Yamuna are start off from Himdari.
A Himachal range is in the north of the Siwalik range. Its average height is 4000 meters and width is about 40-80 km. In Himachal, there are many mountains that consisted such as Dhaula Dhar, Pir Panjal, Mahabharata. Besides these, famed hill stations like Shimla, Mussoorie, Nainital are located there.
Siwalik range the outer Himalaya is 1000 meters long southernmost range with the average width of 10-20 km. There are many Dunes between Siwalik and Himachal. Dunes are those valleys that lie between these two ranges.
